Greetings from
Dr. Valjeaner Ford, Chair
Communications Committee
As chairman of the Communications Committee of NCAEE, I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to register for the Sixth Annual Elementary School Conference, which will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, NC on October 25-27, 2009. Our Fifth Annual Elementary School Conference marked the initialization of the Raleigh Convention Center as the host facility for our annual conference. The location proved to be well suited to meet the required needs of our presenters and attendees. We look forward to an even more successful conference in October 2009.
We, the NCAEE leadership, anticipate that the 2009 conference will be the most resource-rich, informative conference to date. In addition to the standard schedule, we expanded last year’s offerings to include pre-conference sessions. Building on that success, we will again offer pre-conference sessions on Sunday, October 25. We hope that you will plan to take advantage of the possibilities afforded by the expanded three-hour pre-conference time frame. As we’ve traditionally done, we will continue to offer a lineup of featured presenters as well as informative, power-packed back-to-back sessions.
Our educational experts will empower you with practical, powerful tools that you can utilize in your own classroom setting. This year’s conference will provide an opportunity for you to network with other professional educators throughout the state to share new strategies and techniques as we help build the foundation that will equip our young boys and girls to be successful and meet the challenges of our global society.
DON’T MISS OUT!! Plan to be a part of the Sixth Annual Elementary School Conference. This is your opportunity to form new acquaintances as well as meet old friends as we lead the way in preparing lifelong learners for the 21st century. Please click on the conference links to access our presenter proposal form, conference strands, brochure, and other information. I look forward to seeing you at the 2009 conference.
