Presenter Proposal

Proposals should be very clear in how the session aligns with current research or best practice. *Type of Session The Eighth Annual NCAEE conference provides a variety of session types and room arrangements to meet the needs of conference attendees. Please carefully read the guidelines for each and select accordingly. Once confirmed, session types and room arrangements will not be changed. Required information or fields are indicated by * Proposal Submission Deadline: June 17, 2011 "Title of Session" and "Program Abstract" Approval Conference Attendance Confirmed Presenters wishing to attend the 2011 NCAEE Annual Elementary School Conference may do so at a reduced rate of $87.50. If you plan on attending, simply fill out the Conference Attendee Registration Form, selecting the "Confirmed Presenter" button. "Additional Presenters" wishing to attend will need to complete the 2011 Annual Conference Attendee Registration, as well. Other: Please Specify If not from North Carolina, please select Other. Quick-Get: this format is appropriate for a 50 minute session providing an overview of research, strategies, or classroom ideas. Presentation is brief, but engaging. Quick-get rooms are arranged in theater style Workshop: the workshop format lasts 90 minutes and is best utilized for sessions that provide participants with extended classroom application/activities. Workshop rooms are arranged in worktable format. Training: the training format provides the most intensive and extended concept opportunity. Training sessions last for a half day- (2) 90 minute sessions with one break- and are arranged in worktable format. Description of session in 75 words or less and recorded exactly as you would like it to appear in the program booklet. Please be as specific as possible. A detailed description of what you expect educators to learn and be able to do at the end of the session as well as an outline of what information will be presented.
